Wazonghi on Tilghman
This past weekend I helped move the sculpture "Song of the Wazonghi" from Bethesda to its new home on Tilghman Island on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake. It was formerly on the Ithaca Commons as one of my sculptures for the "Art in the Heart of the City" show. It seemed to have a cult following there, with poems left at its feet and beads hung around its neck.
Its new location is at the home of wonderful friends of ours. The Wazonghi is now in a beautiful garden with a water view.
